Last year you all helped get me to gold level! I'd love to get a matching medal!

2nd Year!

Last year, thanks to all my friends and family, I raised $1600 for the Edmonton Stollery.

Edmonton as a whole raised over $206,000 CAD.

This year the goals are higher, the venue is better and more public and it should be another great year of fundraising and gaming!

Once again the generosity of my friends and family has blown me away! With still another month to go until Game Day I have raised my goal to $1500. With the way things are going I may be surpassing my total from last year.

A list of all my beautiful donors.

This is my first year participating in Extra Life but it will not be my last.

This page will document the event and everything leading up to it.

personal fundraising total = $1600

Edmonton’s Final total = +$206,000

Day 1

On my first day of fundraising I've already hit 10th place out of Edmonton's 86 person team.

I set my goal at a modest $500 but I've already hit 65% of that.

Thank you all so much to all those that have donated already.

Thanks to a very generous donation from ACI Architects I surpasses the $500 mark. Currently sitting in third for the whole Edmonton team. Goal has been bumped up to $1000

Broke the $1000.00 goal! That's an Extra Life Gold Medal achievement! Had to bump the goal up AGAIN!! Thanks to everyone who has donated. Still time for those thinking about it!

I wanted to give a huge shout out to everyone that donated! I appreciate you all and thank you!

Game day programming

November 4th, Epcor Tower, 16th floor

With the days passing by and the excitement rising I figured I should let everyone know what is happening on game day.

Below is an embedded stream from my Xbox, if I'm on and playing you'll be able to see it here.

Aside from that I will be doing a Facebook Live video throughout. Not sure how often, but I'll check in from time to time. Show everyone what is happening 16 stories above Edmonton's downtown core.

If anyone is so inclined, there are visiting hours from 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm on Saturday. I'm not sure how you get in, who you talk to, or any other details (I'm sure we'll know more on Game Day). But if you are in the area or feel so inclined to come see 200 nerds playing games together then come on up!
